2FA problems usually come down to a lost authenticator app or a time-sync issue — both have straightforward fixes if you have recovery codes saved.

Lost authenticator: use one of your 10 single-use recovery codes.
No recovery codes: contact support; we'll verify identity and disable 2FA.
SMS not arriving: switch to authenticator-app 2FA — more reliable.
Codes always rejected: usually a time-sync issue on your phone's clock.
No penalty for disabling and re-enabling 2FA.

Good to know Save your recovery codes in a password manager when you set up 2FA — they're your only path back in if you lose your authenticator app without them.
